AI Problem In FS2004

Wed Feb 11, 2004 4:18 am

My damn AI-aardvark, FSPainter and whatnot planes wont land in FS2004! They just fly to the threshold and then go missed...most of the times they don't even contact the tower. And yes, i have the new FS2004 FDE's installed and all. Anyone have a go at this?

is it at all airports or only one/a few?

if it is only at one/a few airports, its probably an AFCAD problem.

I have the same problem but only with the odd aircraft. Once at Gatwick on FS2004 a (Aardvark) BA 737-500 was coming into land, but its approach was really weird. It would nose dive a long way down then pulled back up and went up about half the altitude it went down. Then it finally was about ground level right at the end of the runway and contacted tower that it went missed.

Also with Project Opensky B747-400's when they come into land they just disappear when they touch down. I don't know why?

I think if an aircraft lands then disappears, it means there are no spaces for it to park or the places available are not big enough.

No, because before that 25+ aircraft had just departed, and its only the POSky B747s that are disappearing.
