Viewing The Wing In FS From The 2D Panel, How?

Mon Apr 05, 2004 6:29 am

I can't view the wing from certain airplanes when I put the view towards them. I already messed with the panel.cfg files with no results. This is in FS2002. Some airplanes I have downloaded do show the wings from the cockpit, but I couldn't replicate that on other planes. I'm asking in this forum because I can't join other simulation forums since my e-mail is from hotmail. Any advice?

Thx.

Thanks SA006, but I'm asking how to make the wings APPEAR, not how to look at them, sorry if I didn't make myself clear.

Well not all aircraft have wing views. It all depends on which aircraft you download. There are some files at http://www.avsim.com that you can download to make the wings appear. Wing views appear on all Posky aircraft, most Meljet aircraft and the FFX 737. The default aircraft do not come with wing views already installed, you have to do that yourself if you want them to appear.

Still can't find anything on the subject. Oh well, who needs wing views anyways...
