ATC Scanners?

I know this has probably been covered before but what are some good scanners so i can listen to ATC? Where should i get them and what are the prices? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you buy a scanner that works in the 118 - 135 Mhz range. I bought one the other day that said 25 - 800 Mhz, but for some reason the aviation band was cut out.
Last year 1,944 New Yorkers saw something and said something.
