Jet Powered Model Aircraft.

Fri May 28, 2004 6:33 am

Is there such a thing? I know there are plenty of propeller and rotor driven model craft, but what about jets? Who makes them and what would they cost? I'm sorry If this seems like a stupid thing to ask, but I'm just curious.

Now as I clean up my puddle of drool....... Where would one get engines of that size for something like that? Seems to me that they would have to be very intricate, and also VERY expensive. I'll google it to see what else I can find out.

the ones i saw were 1-2.5K each. some poepel also power models of jet with ducted fans (a standard electric or piston engine driving a very short diameter/wdiebladed prop in the fan ducting).
When in doubt, one B pump off
