Hope it helps, anyway - it used to annoy me, Chicago is NOT my favourite US city.
On reflection it took me a while to get rid of it. Checking, I THINK you have to go to 'other' flights (right at the bottom of the 'Select Flights' list), click on 'Meigs etc.', and THEN take the cross out of 'Make default flight'.
Did me a favour anyway - started up FS2002 and did a couple of 'scenic' landings from my earlier adventures (one, into Honolulu in perfect weather in a Piper Navajo, is probably my all-time favourite).
I wouldn't be without FS2004, given the better ATC and GPS and especially the older aeroplanes and the 'historical' flights. But one thing I miss is that the clouds, visibility, and terrain textures are pretty well completely realistic - which means that, as in the real thing, you don't see much of the ground if you are at any kind of height. On FS2002 you see everything.........
