Airplane Shop In Vegas

Fri Jul 16, 2004 4:51 am

Anyone been to the new Airplane Shop in Vegas?

I used to purchase models from their New Jersey store.

I'm going to Vegas in November, and was planning on brining an extra suitcase for my purchases at the store.

Yes, I did in March.

It's in an industrial area (Windy court or something) next to a strip club, haha. The aircraft at LAS take off right over your head westbound! The shop is very good and remember, much of their stuff seems to not be on display so make em go in the back for you if you don't see what you want. Also, if you take a cab there, be sure to arrange for one to come get you later, the wait times can be bad.

Thanks for the update, Beachthing.

I have a horrible confession. I spent right at $300 for a 1/100 scale Pan Am 747.

Thank to my son, it is the only single engine 747 in existence..... Smile
