One Of My New Gemini Jets Arrived Broken!

Tue Jul 20, 2004 7:17 pm

Today was a very exciting for me! My second load of 1:400 models I ordered arrived! Anyway, when I opened the box containing the Gemini Jets, BA 747 2 pack (Wunala Dreaming tail and Najili Dreaming tail) the Wunala aircraft was damaged! The left horizontal tail fin had broken off during shipping! Ok, so, if I were to put a tiny bit of super glue into the slot it fits into, then insert it back in, would that be ok? Or should I contact Airline Museum, and see if they can do anything?

Here's a pic of the models...

I have the same models from the same pack.

One of my elevators just fell off one day. It was fine when it arrived though.

I don't think this particular aircraft is made very well Sad

You should contact who ever you got it from and return the aircraft.

I had the same exact problem with a Gemini VS 346. I suggest you take a look over at W900 to see if anyone has a suggestion.

Gemini models with broken parts of mine:

A320 Frontier landing gear falls off.

A330 Qantas landing gear again.

A346 SAA horizontal stabilizer comes of easily.

727 AA landing gear yet again.

Yes there are some sensitive areas on Gemini, be careful!

I had to take my Herpa to school for a project, and someone wanted to know if it really flew. Stole it from me and threw it like a paper airplane.  Sad SuperGlue works wonders for me.

Yes, you have to be careful with Gemini models' gears. One of the main gear legs fell off my Air Jamaica A340 model. It was nothing beyond super-glue to fix but it was something to think about.

Hop to it, fly for life!

A few weeks ago I had two models arrive at my house that I ordered. An Easter 757, which had a broken tail, and an Eastern 727 whisperjet, which the box was damaged. I called them today ( I've been out of town till now ) and they were very sorry and said I could keep the two damaged shipments and they would send me two new ones. Thirty minutes later I got an email saying they had been shipped. I believe Gemini jets has the best customer service I've ever dealt with. A big thanks goes out to them.
