My FS9 Scenery Problem - Help Please!

Sat Sep 18, 2004 11:13 pm

I have just got a GeForce 4 graphics card for my computer so that FS9's graphics run properly on my system and although the graphics are now great the scenery does not load quickly enough in the immediate distance. I can see the blured terrain before it comes into focus.

I have a pentium 4 processor and at first I thought it must be something to do with this but when I went back on FS2002 I noticed the same problem which I can't understand considering that it was fine when I ran an older graphics card with it.

I have got the nvidia display drivers and directX9 and have even tried turning the display settings down in FS9 but with no success.

Any suggestions?
Happy Flying!

Perhaps you may need to adjust you display settings in the FS2004 main menu. The new graphics card most likely reset all of the settings back to default.

Limit the fps or buy more ram (if the game stutters).
