FS2004?

Mon Dec 06, 2004 2:39 am

I do apologize if this has been asked before but..........

I have been reading all of your stories about flying around the world and such, but the only FS that I can find to buy is Century of flight. Is this the one all of you guys use? What planes does this game come with? How do you get more?

Thanks very much guys,
Regards,
Mike

Yes, it's sometimes called FS9 as well. It comes with the 737, 747, 777, Concorde and other assorted GA aircraft. You can go to www.avsim.com or www.flightsim.com to download additional aircraft and airport upgrades. Be careful as it can be very addicting.

Dont forget about the King Air 350 and Baron 58. DC-3 too. Cessna Caravan with floats and with out.
Flight Simulator world the sky is the limit. You can find everything. Radio panels yokes, add ons for free or amazing add ons which you pay for.
avsim.com has the most add ons for free.
FS9 is great.
e-mail me with any questions. or better yet just ask all of us here. Dont be afraid to ask anything.

That's excellent. Thanks very much for all of your responses. I think I will end up buying it sometime this week....can't wait!

Also, thanks for your offer Flymia, I will definitely be in touch.

Once again, thanks again for all of your advice.

Regards,
Mike

Good stuff! You won't regret the purchase.  Smile

Start out on the aircraft that come with FS to get the feel for it. Then, when you feel ready to expand your horizons, start getting some add-ons. There's a whole world of FS stuff out there, but don't jump in too quickly because stuff like installing some add-ons can be confusing to a beginner.

And, as Flymia said, feel free to ask any questions here.

And, once you buy it and start flying, say goodbye to your friends, family, etc because your entire life will become flightsimming!
