The Screenshot Thread V6

Thu Mar 03, 2005 1:17 pm

6th thread guys! I love this!

AIRLINE: Lan Airlines (Lan Chile)
FLIGHT NUMBER:
EQUIPMENT: Boeing 767-300ER
ORIGIN: Bogota, DC - El Dorado Int'l
DEPARTURE TIME: 11:55
DESTINATION: Santiago - Arturo Merino Benitez Int'l
ARRIVAL TIME: 19:35
IFE: Movie and Telenovela (Soap Opera)
MEAL: Lunch and Snack
STATUS: 10 mins after takeoff over Madrid Air Force Base

Next to an AV F50 and fellow LA 763 bound for MIA

In reality, the mountain in the background is at least twice as tall as this one

Taxiing to 13R

After takeoff. I was actually glad the mountains in FS are only 1/3 of the size otherwise... Takeoff from Bogota is not easy with a full load, being at 2600 mts/8400 ft ASL

Turning over TEH (Techo) VOR

More tomorrow...

Chris, good luck with the AFCAD. Will look forward to your shots soon!!!

Thanks mate, I have actually nearly finished it! I've done all the taxiways, and Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Just need to do Terminal 4 and then the Cargo and Maintenance areas and a few extra parking spots and it will be done!

Back soon!

Where is everyone?

Enjoy the rest of BOG-SCL on LA

Begining the approach

Turning finals

Finally... runway in sight

Just about to touch down

Braking

I was so put off because of the lack of AI traffic at SCL AND how the terminal looked like a warehouse!

Hello all, Nice shots. 754, I used to have that panel addition. The video is randomly hilarous. I've been slamed with so much work, but I shall continue my trip to Egypt tommorow! See you then.

WOW! The interior shot is awesome! Does the movie actually play while your viewing it? I'm amazed - simply amazed! That is too cool.

I now have FS envy - Thanks! I don't think I'll be able to fly my Landmark 777 ever again.

Yes, the movie does play while you are watching it, the trouble is, its a 3 second clip which just plays over and over again!! And it gets a bit boring after around 0.6 seconds!

Nice shots Chris.

Is that TP A320 ifdg? If so I need to get it ASAP!

Well, I drove today from TLH to FLL and I'll be here until March 14th for spring break, so no shots for a week or so...

But please everyone, keep on posting! It's always great to see!

Oh, yeah I thought I might mention this here. As I was driving on I-95 north by the holding point to 9L at FLL I noticed there were about 3 or 4 a/c holding for a US A320 to land. But there was a 752 (prob AA) that didn't have ANY light on except for the red/green NAV lights... What gives? I could barely make out the a/c... Not even the tail was lit, although I know in the US it is common to have the tail/logo lights off.

I do fly this particular BA 777 fairly frequently (I have about 20 different BA Triples!) because I love the 'Delftblue Daybreak' tail she carries. I was rather pissed off at the beginning of last year when I was taking pictures at LHR and she came in wearing the standard BA Union Flag tail.  grumpy

Thanks for your kind words!

Ok... answers to your questions...

  • The AI is from Ultimate Traffic.
  • I use FS2004.
  • The snow is already included. Just need your real-world weather on.
  • Water effects.. go to www.avsim.net and search 'Calm Water Textures'.

Any more questions you have, don't hesitate to ask!

United_Fan -

Isn't that LAS VEGAS (LAS) MCcarran Intl? The hotels in that pic look like they're from LAS VEGAS.

Just wondering!!! I have lived there for most of my life until we moved to California and then to HK, China. Looked familiar!!!  Big grin
