Oh...I almost forgot.

Does anyone know the right buttons to push to open the cargo doors on that baby???

I read something about "Arrest Hook" and "Folding Wing" but was unable to find the corresponding combination...  Sad

Bully707,

Those are awesome shots! I love the Maybach delivery also. I love the close ups! The AA taking off in SS v.17 and the "gear up" on this thread are quite possibly my favorites that I've seen. I did also like a photo of Peter Max that Chris did - but that's beside the point. These SS's are Awesome!

Wow! Amazing shots! They look real!

Well, I downloaded the Project Fokker F70 and F100 and let me tell you... Forget Meljet, Posky, etc... This is my new baby! Honestly, I am very surprised that this a/c is not payware!

I got that Project Fokker (50, 70 and 100) some months ago, just before Christmas, and I have to say that I was also very impressed with it, especially the VC... that is just amazing.

The only let down I think about the Project Fokker, was the sound file. The engine sounds didn't really do it for me, but you can't have everything!

Hi guys,

Got some good news, I just registered another Photobucket account (got 5 now LOL) so shall be posting some screenshots soon.

Incidentally, I think we need to calm down a bit with opening new screenshot threads, as there were 3 earlier in the top 10 list.

We should just make new threads once each post has reached 50 hits, and not worry about "being on top of new thread" like some people only seem to care about.

If you search back through the archives you will see screenshot posts with almost 100 hits before a new one was started! We should get back to that way, and stop clogging up the top of the lists!

I totally agree with you Chris. I just hated posting around the 30th post because then someone would start a new one... But we should post a minimum of 50 replies before moving on to a new thread.

I did think it was gettings VERY stupid of how many there were, People where only getting 20 replies or so and starting a new one, I think 50 or so replies then a new one should be started, maybe 50-70, something like that.

I'll do somemore flying in a bit and show you some more screenshots.

Gkirk, Nope, Never stalled, Great plane to fly, I would suggest it to anyone.

Why dont we take it in turns whoever starts a new screenshot thread. It would stop people being worried about being on top, since everyone would get there chance on top after a while...
So if you want to be in the list put you name down in a post and I could randomise the names on my computer, meaning that there will be a list of everyone that wants to open a thread every so often.
Think it will work?

If it is of importance who is the first poster of a new thread...(which I think is not that important...oh well...), why don't we "elect" a Screenshot-Moderator???  Big grin

She/he would then be responsible for opening a new thread!!!

Just a thought....

We don't need a boss, when it reaches "too long" start a new one. Can't just count entries, but also look at amount of pictures. Maybe we should get our own screenie forum?

OK, here is yet an attempt to post a screenie, I am still not getting my shots as sharp and bright (ehh, and this is a nightshot) but this is teh onlyway to check for improvements in my resize/adjust effort

Very True Chris,

Back in the day when we had these threads they hit at least 100 posts before a new one started, If Modems could handle that then well im pretty sure modems today could handle over 35 posts!!

I like looking at screenshots but there is 1 word for people wanting to be at the top:

Pathetic!, If you'v got something to share by all means share it but a new thread is NOT needed at 35 posts! And besides 10/35 ill have screenshots in.

Sorry...but you seem to forget that not everybody has those highspeed modems and stuff.....plus...there is no need to be aggressive!!!

Who treated you so bad that you are so upset???  hissyfit

Everything here is very relaxed...!!!  cloudnine

Still...you do have a valid point in your observation that 25-35 posts may not be enough to validate the beginning of a new thread.

However...I do not think that anybody here is in such a need to show off...and start a new thread just to be the No 1 once...!!!

Having said that, I'll just post my shots now...!!!

Im with you, sounds like a good Idea. However, then the Avaition hobby forum would be empty because all the hoby fourm is are screenshot threads mostly.

Since I've only posted one screenshot feel free to completely ignore this, but I saw (on another aviation forum somewhere) where the screenshot threads had a theme. Landings, night landings, city skylines, natural wonders, take-offs, etc.

Anywho, the point of my comment is that even with my DSL connection I'm still waiting on screenshots to be downloaded. If people continued taking their great screen shots but only posted those related to the weekly (at this recent rate - daily) theme the rate new threads are posted would drop dramatically because people would be posting relevant shots.

Just a thought.

Phil....

N601BN,

What model is the Air Seychelles? SGA? KH?

That would be the downside. However, many forums have their own screenshot thread. Who knows, maybe if we do ask the moderators they might say no.

Just a thought.

And not a bad one. But as you say, the number of shots would highly decrease.

We are greedy people. We took over the Hobby thread and then we want our own thread.  Wink

I actually think that it is a great idea to have some space, because taking screenshots are a work of Art. Everyone that posts screenshots here are artists in screenshotting.

Oops. It was KH. For whatever reason, the two default liveries for the KH 73G are Air Seychelles and WestJet. Haven't added any others as of yet.

COMMENTS: Best FS flight ever! I took off from BEG and turned left heading 205. I barely reached my cruising altitude of FL270 when I was instructed to descend to FL180, followed by the instruction to descend 9000 and then to 7500ft. Now I was being vectored for finals rwy14... I am about 17 miles out... still at 7500 and can see that the mountains below me and around the airport must be around 4000ft. So I am finally handed off to tower and consequently I get clearance to descend to 2000 and to land at around 9 miles out! Wow, it was a really steep approach and I could only think of the RJ F-100 from Amman to Baghdad, which have to descend from FL100 to the airport doing circles just above it. Wow! What a flight! Big grin

At the gate in BEG. More traffic than I expected!

Rocketing off to the south

Descending 7500. The airport is visible in the upper part of the shot, just left of center

Look at those ridges!

Part Deux

Seven miles out and still above 5000ft!

Trying not to scare the passengers on my first flight to TIV

Finally I see Two White-Two Red and can do a more standard approach

Ah... a perfect landing with just a little bit of wind to make it even more interesting

Reversing. Fortunately, the rwy was rather long and reverse thrust had to be minimally used

At the gate

Great Shots Stefano, Those ridges look almost real.
I got an idea to increase the chances of getting our own forum, make it a Flight Simulator forum instead of a screenshot forum. This would convince the moderators that it is a big enough topic and that a lot of people will contribute to it. So, that they will reconise it as a more worthy suggestion.
