Yes. It was suggested by myself the other day and most people gave it the thumbs up!

It's the new colours!

I flew (in real life) on my first 757 just 10 days ago (British Airways) and fell in love with this wonderful aircraft even more! So much so that I am going on a return 757 trip on 19th April LHR-MAN-LHR. CANT WAIT!

I KNOW THAT!!! I'm a complete Monarch Maniac! I flew on G-MOND and G-MONC out to Chania (Crete) last summer. Not to mention flights to Kalamata Preveza, Heraklion, you name it!

What I mean is, who painted that FS aircraft, It doesn't look like the official posky one (in which they got the colours completely wrong!).

How do you get the screenshot to look so good? What I mean is like when I try to get a screenshot into a.net, the quality just drags down and down to the gutter. How are you able to maintain the great quality of the shot?

It's a combination of having a fantastic graphics card, and a little bit of sharpening, and some fiddling with contrast and brightness (Thanks for the tip Hoons90!) that make a good screenshot.

When I shoot them, I shoot them in *.bmp format.
Then I load up Paint Shop Pro.

I then do the (when necessary) cropping, sharpening, and contrast and brightness values. Then compress them into *.jpg format.

Nice and easy!

Yes and Yes.

Why are you so worried? Is it because you feel your chances of opening another thread might be disappearing by us doing it this way?!

As I recall, it was YOU who started the Screenshot Threads!

...and did YOU think it was a good idea to do? Or think about how many threads there might be?

Eduardo,

Thanks for your kind words...!

With regards to the quoting... the way you did it was correct!

All you do is highlight someones text, then click on "Quote selected text" and it automatically goes into the box where you type your post in!

And yes, the EK A343 is the POSKY model.

The first screenshot thread I started was for the people that wanted to keep posting at the competition, version 2 was stared by someone else and I had nothing to do with it.
Look at the members that post shots at the screenshot threads, think of 1 thread for each one of them. Why have them all by member and not all the shots in 1 place?

Quoting MADtoCAE (Reply 31):
Why have them all by member and not all the shots in 1 place?

Because myself and others noticed that certain members were only interested in posting shots so that they could be "at the top of the thread" which myself and others thought was totally pathetic.

Doing it this way allows people to always be at the top of their own thread if thats how they wanna play it.

If you don't like this way of doing it then fair enough, you carry on posting your own screenshots (when they work!) elsewhere.

End of.

Quoting European (Reply 32):

So far, I have only had moans from one individual (see above) about it. Everyone else likes the idea.

Chris

P.S - This is for my screenshots and not debating the wrongs or rights of this thread. Thanks!

Hey Chris,

Awesome shots mate! Superb as always. I finally made it to PHX on F9 and I am looking at hoping on HP and either slowly make my way back to the east coast, or go to the west coast and catch a red-eye. But that will be decided/done once I recover from my hangover! I will never drink again........................................................ on a Sunday afternoon! Big grin

In regards to the new thread system, I think it is a good idea. The bad thing is that I have the feeling once there are many threads (10 or so) I might no have enough time to post a comment on all of them. We'll see what happens.
