Pmdg 737NG Problem - Help Needed!

Mon Apr 04, 2005 8:54 pm

Hi,

I've problem with my 737-700. If I increase the load (of my 737-700) I will always get the message - Aircraft not flyable CENTER OF GRAVITY not within limits! I've tried different loads but the result is always the same.
This is really annoying. I don't have the problem with my 737-600.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

pelican

In the ms9 fuel and weights just before you start your flight check the centre of gravity by looking at the black and white chequered part.it should be equal in your case it probably isnt.  Wow!

My problem with the PMDG pig is the auto-throttle not working. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Anyone else have this trouble?

Well I never gotten the center of gravity message before.
For the A/T not working there could be alot of different reasons for that.
You have the center console autopilot controls on Normal and the A/T on. If you are using N1 you need to make sure the FMC is set. If just using the A/T and it is armed I dont know why I would not work.

No switch on the overhead that I use for the A/T. Not sure of the name of the switch you are talking about since I never turn the radios off but it is on the top left corner of the over head, right? Thats the only switch I dont know on that overhead.

Ive found that the auto throttle will not work if the 1 and 2 generators are not switched on.when you select auto throttle it just switches back off.So Rodol i wonder if this is your problem?  boggled

Cheers JPC, I tried that and it worked! Just done AA Dallas FW-Houston with no problem a/t wise. Shame I ballsed up the landing! Getting cocky turning the ap off before I was over the numbers!!!  Wink
