X-Plane Screenshot Request, Please!

Wed May 04, 2005 2:49 am

As the topic title states does anyone have any screenshots of Xplane? I really want to see what this system has to offer. My laptop when ape shit on me and crapped out when trying to download the demo and my computer doesn't get in until tonight or tomorrow. So, if anyone has any x-plane screenshots or knows where I can find them please point me in the right direction.

Thank you all for your past and future help!

The current XPlane is XPlane 8.

Some of those screenshots make it look better than Flight Simulator 2004.

Being an old X-plane user from the Mac and now on Wintel, let me tell you this, X-plane will blow FS2004 out of the water but for very good realistic flying youll need a fast machine with a good video card (example: Nviia 660Gt or 6800Gt or Ati X800 or X850.

The flight model is more accurate than FS and if you request an instrument approach the Atc will keep you on your toes....

The newer planes and version 8.11 even has INS and a programable FMC (well since version 6.0) but this one works perfectly on trans artic flights....also the sounds are even better, grantes the airports do not look even closer than th eones in FS and the assorted traffic is not as FS, nor the scale of minor tweaks and liveries of A/C but for flying accuracy...X-plane is the ticket

What kind of a quiz is it when you give us the question, then a couple of clues... and then the answer?!!!!

You should have let us all guess!... (even though it was pretty easy!)

Chris

P.S. Congratulations on the MX repaint. It looks great!
