Now You Can Be A Airliner...

Fri May 06, 2005 3:23 am

Hello guys.
I was just looking around avsim.com and I saw a new pc game called the Airliner Pilot, many of you have already heard of it.
The topic says:
Your career in aviation awaits you...
Have you ever wanted to fly for a major airline? Fancy travelling the world, being responsible for millions of pounds worth of aircraft and for the safety and comfort of hundreds of passengers? Wouldn't it be great if you could do it in Flight Simulator 2004?

Now you can. Airliner Pilot is a unique piece of software that puts you into control of an airliner in your own fictional airline.

.....

Looks good so here is the link for the demo. http://www.justflight.com/en/(x42cqu...cts.aspx?pid=JFF200504141304&cat=d

Just put on some metal, make wings, and jump off a cliff.
I convert Jet A and 100LL into noise.

That looks really awesome!

They need to post more info about it though. Does the install include all the ground support equipment shown in the screenshots?

I just tried for the first time.... You can just fly one flight, A 737 from Plymouth(UK). I didn't love it but if you buy the full game I think it could be really good, the game is linked to your FS.  Smile

I would imagine that it does not.

It looks okay to me. But I do fine just flying FS on my own in my realistic add ons. You can do the same thing with a VA.

Correct. And this addon doesn't allow you to use a lot of those other addons.
I wish I were flying

Are there any 'real-life airlines'?
Hey, you want to go out for pizza and some sex? What, you don't like pizza?

I played around with the demo last night....

I wasn't too impressed with it, as I could do most of the things the program offers myself. Also, for some reason it made my computer run very slow, and my fps dropped considerably!
