My Screenshot Thread - Volume 6 - N754AN

Wed May 18, 2005 1:19 am

Some departure shots from:

Indian Airlines 814
Khatmandu - Delhi
Airbus A320
VT-EPM

I didn't even know what the Indian Airlines livery looked like until I downloaded this aircraft yesterday, and I quite like it!

WOW!  Wow!

Great shots as always Chris!

I'm presuming that is the default scenery, looks very nice.

Thanks! - Yeah the hills etc is completely default. The only changes to Khatmandu are that I extended the runway by 1500 feet so that when I go there again if I get a runway 20 approach, the landing will be much more of a challenge because the mountains are a lot closer to the final approach, so it would be kinda like a Kai Tak approach, without the buildings! (You can see in picture 4, the entire length of the runway and how close to the mountains the runway starts at the other end!, and I added a taxiway to each end of the runway from the gates, eliminating the need to backtrack down the runway when departing. - Also the gate area surface i made Tarmac, cos it looks nice!!

I was bored and I had an hour or two until my overnight flight, EK011 Dubai - Gatwick, So I decided to bring my aircraft, an A330-200 (A6-EKW), out from the maintenance hangars to the gate ready for prepping of the flight, and I had a little look around the Terminal.

I shall post from shots from the flight (if there are any) tomorrow!

Yes, I grew quite fond of it rather rapidly!

Quoting Msp753nwa (Reply 6):

It sure is!

That flight I mentioned, EK011 DXB-LGW, I just took off at 05:34 local time, almost 3 hours late... I fell asleep LOL!!!! So that is going to mess up my scheduled flights today, because at LGW I had 55 mins until my next flight, so that will be way behind now, following that I had a 30 min turnaround in Trondheim before heading back to LGW, and then 35 min turnaround before the round trip to Lanzarote... but by then things should have evened themselves out... I hope!

Just left Gate 318 at Terminal 3.

Almost at Runway 27R.

Swiss 023
New York - Geneva
Airbus A330-200
HB-IQB

I took off 50 mins ago at 2015 Local Time so only a few shots at the moment.

Taxiing to 13R as the sun goes down.

Very windy evening in New York, I had to fight it before I even got airborne and I was astonished by the drift as I lifted off.

A nice winglet view! (Click for full size).

Okay - Now I feel a little guilty. Muy Fabulosa actually translates into "very fabulous", I think. Muy means "very" and (if it's even a Spanish word, I may have just made it up) fabulosa means...fabulous.

Chris,

Wow I love the Indian Airlines ss! Wonderful shots!

And the DXB scenery from FlyTampa is awesome! I'm so jealous! Unfortunately, it's been about 5mins since I opened the page and it's taking too long to load, so I cannot comment on the other shots just yet since I'm rushing here!

Expect to see some screenies of my own soon!
