Official Screenshot Thread V2

Mon Jun 06, 2005 3:37 am

Ok this is the brand-spanking-new screenshot thread. Same rules as the previous one.

Here are some shots of a Winair Twotter in St Barthelemy, since I decided to take a break from the Middle East. The scenery is great, but it has a bug that makes FS shutdown randomly.

Some comparison shots:

Hey, nice shots! they look almost exactly like the real ones  bigthumbsup
Here are a few of my B734 shots:
WN at DFW (realistic, I know... but it looks good surrounded by AA planes

And now a USair 734 also from DFW:
as you can see I had a close call with an AA 757 which wandered onto the runway after I was cleared for takeoff *whew*

Unforunately I didn't have time to finish the flight, so no landing shots (they would have sucked anyway)

Hi,

Great shots!!

The brand spanking new Posky 757 with winglets. Has anyone else noticed that it has way to much power at idle? Even with the parking brake on it inches forward.

The MSP skyline.

Nice shots. What version of FS is it, though? The US a/c looks like from FS2000

Gofly

Nice assorted shots! What AI do you have?

Matt

Love the reverser shot, but I must say to me the 757 with winglets is the least appealing a/c there is.

Awesome shots! The default DC3 looks really good! I might take it up for a spin in the coming days.

Now back to the Middle East. This time I boarded a Qatar Airways A330-200 from JED to DOH.

The WinAir Twotter *giggles like a schoolgirl* shots are very realistic, although i'd love to see you replicate that photograph of the real aircraft making that steep descent before the runway....challenging  eyepopping

Hi LooneyToon,

The 757 is Titan Airways, which is a small airline based at London Stansted. They have a small fleet consisting of just a few aircraft, namely B757, B737, BAe 146 and King Air B200. Their aircraft are mainly used for Charter flights, but the B757 and B737 can often be seen operating for other airlines to fill in for aircraft that may have gone tech.

The 757 is available on AVSIM. Just search for the following files.

posky757_titan.zip
nlfix_titan757.zip

You will need both as the second one is a fix for night textures.
The files are TEXTURES ONLY so you will need a POSKY 757-200 base (with RR Engines).

Hope this helps,

AeroVodochody,

You should look into downloading some of the great freeware a/c like IFDG, POSKY, FFX/SGA, etc. Those last shots you posted look really good. I can't imagine how you say you have a crappy graphics card and your clouds are very detailed. What fps do you get? I still have to use the un-detailed clouds  cry

Bernd,

That pilatus looks great!

Chris,
