I delayed the flight by a couple of hours in the hope that I would arrive in Luanda as the sun was rising but I got there just before the sun started to rise so unfortunately no shots from Luanda. Will be flying back to Heathrow tonight (BA076), with an 08:30GMT arrival, and hopefully with some landing shots at LHR.

I have a question for you N754AN. How do you take multiple screenshots during flight without having it overwrite the previuos shot taken?

Here's one from yesterday. BMI A319 landing at LHR from Durham/Trees Valley.

Sounds as if it could be a problem in the program, if there are any adjustable settings, try looking at them.

You could try FSscreen, or taking them manually.

I see you are using an older version of Cantu's MD-90. He, along with SGA, released a completely new version of all of the Douglas/MD narrowbody aircraft last year. The new version has a wingview, in addition to a catering truck and opening doors.

There is an extensive SGA MD narrowbody file on Flightsim.com too lengthy to list here, but I have select files you may be interested in:

1) SAS DC-9-40: sga940.zip (This is the base pack for the DC-9-40, which includes SAS in new colors)
2) DC/MD narrowbody fix: sgadcmfx.zip (Small fix for the downloaded aircraft)
3) SAS MD-87: sas87.zip (Texture pack for SAS MD-87. You will need the base pack which is listed on the next line-)
4) MD-87 base pack: sga87.zip (comes with Iberia colors)
5) MD-90 base pack: sga90.zip (comes with Delta colors)

All items searched under "SGA DC-9" and "SGA MD-80" and "SGA MD-90". Look for items released after November 1, 2004.

Unfortunately, it appears no one has released a SAS paint scheme for the MD-90. You can attempt to swap your current paint onto the new model, but I doubt there will be much success as this is a new model. Also, a slight correction, only the MD-8x and the MD-90 have the catering truck, but everything else has the wing view and opening doors.

Well, I finally got a chance to fly, so here are the shots.
I was originaly going to fly the A340, but since Chris is such a big fan of the 777, I thought I'd postpone my planned flight and try out the 777 ...

I sped it up (I know, I cheated  ashamed  ). But 15 hours was just a tad too long to sit in front of the computer. It's a nice plane, but I'll be back to the A340 in the next few days. Glad you liked it ...  Smile

Hey freedomtofly, on your last pic at SBP, there are two ATR-72s of an unrecognizable airline... The closest they look like to me is maybe Adria Airways or Air Dolomiti, which I know don't fly to SBP...

This flight was scheduled on sunday, to depart CPH at 17:35 local time, but I had other things to do sunday evening which took priority, and then on monday I spent most of the day in hospital with my sister who's second baby is due anytime now (as yet, baby Holly is yet to be born!)... but i finally took off from Copenhagen at 22:04 local time on monday evening... some 28 hours and 29 minutes late!



This was my first MD87 flight and I have to give the aircraft 10 out of 10 for performance! A joy to fly! - I had to perform a go-around upon arrival at Manchester due to a heavy gust of wind on short final, which made things a bit more interesting, landing safely at the second attempt at 22:48 local time.

Yup it's Aero Airlines. The traffic pack that those planes came from doesn't include flight plans so you see them all over the world.

As most of you know, all the flights I do are based on real world flights (except the occasional fictional charter excursion), but this one isn't!! The flight I did last night from MAN to Corfu was a real charter flight, but I was so tired upon arrival at Corfu, I decided in favour of sleep rather than flying back up to Manchester. - I left FS running and when I woke up, refuelled her and flew up to Birmingham.

This was my first Atlantic crossing and it was very fun! I will definately do it again someday soon. Here are some pics from the flight.

I'm surprised your not a fan of the 75 w/winglets... Although, come to think of it, they aren't the best looking things ever, as opposed to 73s w/winglets...

Thanks for the comments! I am really hooked on this screenshot stuff now. About the winglets, personally I like them and it adds a nice sleek look to it. However, a 757 without winglets is still a beautiful aircraft.

I wanted to take a look at Sanford after realising it existed... so...

DAMN ATL was busy! Delta and AirTran everywhere I looked!

Ok I decided to break it up a bit by flying AM315 from MEX-ACA tonight, then fly the JFK-SXM flight tomorrow.

Those shots are great! - The clouds look superb!

Unfortunately I can only have "simple clouds" on my FS, due to the amount of AI traffic I have and also other scenery, if I had the clouds on "detailed" my pc would probably explode!

A/C: 772(domestic) (In real life, it's an Int'l config JL 772, but I could only find domestic config JL 772s on avsim)


The new Centrair-Chubu Airport opened in Feb 2005, yet to add AI traffic to this airport.


Glass and steel terminal.


Taxiing.


Airborne.


Large, but empty terminal in the background.


Climbing out.


Cruise.




Touchdown at Pusan.


At the gate, notice the temporary Int'l terminal in the background, which will be replaced by a permanent new one by 2006.

Entering clouds ascending to FL340.

Cruising @ FL340 over the Atlantic.

Somewhere over the Atlantic @ FL360.

Descending into cloudy SXM.

On final to land on rwy 9 @ SXM.

Low approach!

Touchdown on rwy 9.

Parked at gate 1, thirty minutes early.
