GPS Map

Sun Jun 19, 2005 5:39 pm

Hi all,

I downloaded a 757/767 panel recently which is great but I have one complaint!

The GPS Map that comes with the panel is a 295, which is of a different layout to the standard one.

Does anybody know how to change it to the standard GPS Map? or even if it is possible?

You will need to go into your panel.cfg file and open it up using word or any text editor.

What you will see is something similar to:

[WindowXX]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=512
window_size_ratio=1.00
position=0
visible=0
ident=30
window_size= 0.500, 0.500
window_pos= 0.000, 0.000

gauge00=gps!gps, 2,3,300,500

What you need to do is replace this section with this:

[WindowXX]
size_mm=456,378
window_size=0.5
position=8
BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0
VISIBLE=0
ident=GPS_PANEL

gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0

This should do it for you.

Thanks for your help Tbanger,

It worked a treat!

I discovered that the panel in question was also missing a radio stack!.. So i used my brains for once and did the same thing as above, taking the information from a 777's panel .cfg and hey presto...it worked!

Thanks once again
