If You Could Have Your Own Real World Airline?

Fri Jun 24, 2005 8:09 am

If i had almost unlimited money,i would like to start a real world airline.Id call it Koala air it would fly from Brisbane Australia to domestic routes with B737-700 and pacific and asian routes with the B763.
It would be painted similar to Frontier of america but with pictures of australian animals on the tail.(koala, kangeroo, lorikeet, cockatoo, dolphin and others).I would have 3 classes;cuddly class(1st),comfy class(business)and rabble or cattle class.(economy).
If you could start a real world airline anyway what would it be like?

I have always had a dream for Trans Atlantic Airlines. Base it in Boston, Seattle and Shannon Ireland. It would have paint that kinda looked like TWA's last livery. Domestic aircraft would be A319-320-321. Regional planes woud be ERJ's and A330 and 777 for Transcon and international. First class would be Legacy Class, And you can earn Legacy Trip Miles. Legacy Lounges in our major airports and coach would be the "family" cabin.
"Ladies and Gentelmen, on behalf of employee owned Tans Atlantic Airlines, Welcome to Boston!"
Cant wait to here that...
One way, IAH-RTB please! No return ticket required.

I'd give 99% off to all a.net members, allow the option to buy (or even better auction) a ticket in the jumpseat, and I'd only hire the hottest FAs in miniskirts!!! Big grin

I'd make Giggity Airlines. All of our flight crews and flight attendants would be HAWT and the miniskirts would be even mini'r than FLY2HMO's airline.  cheeky

I would be based in Vancouver, BC, Canada and have a lot of regional flights flown by Dash8's, Beech B1900D's and the Shorts SD-360. For mid-range I would ofcourse use the A320 and B737-800 (with winglets). All my long range flights would be flown by A330, A340 and B747-400.

Because our airline is so powerful and rich, we would also have an A380-800 built specially for us, even before all the testing is complete.  yes

If you fly first class, there is optional complimentary massages available. Frequent customers will be invited to join the Mile High Club, and have special services provided.  wink

Would you fly with us?
