Best Flight Controls For FS2004

Thu Oct 13, 2005 4:09 am

I did a search of these forums for threads that recommended the best flight controls (of reasonable price) for FS2004...but I figured that some of the info might be a bit outdated. Anyone have any suggestions on what to get/what I need? I have looked at the Saitek X52 which was recommended. And why would I need rubber pedals? Thanks.

I have the Saitek X45 - it doesn't have as many knobs as the x52 but suits me fine. There's no force feed back - but I find FFB off putting on the previous sticks I've tried.

The X45 (and X52) have a rudder control system - but this is by means of a control on the throttle section of the joystick.

I have toyed with the idea of pedals - this would add extra realism but, for me, the price is too high.

As for "rubber" pedals ? I don't know - never heard of them - just rudder pedals.
