PSS 777 Merges With Meljet's -200ER -200LR -300ER

I' am working on a B777-200ER adaptation and merge for the PSS 772LR package with the Meljet 772ER, it's been nervwrecking to complete because of the different thrust ranges/tanks and weights, but...
It's 95% complete right now and I' am planning some testflights to check the performances on how a 777-200ER should react!

Currently I only have the GE-90-94B model and to be exact, the 142000 EOW version of AF, the newest version with the new cabin layout.

This is what I' am working on for the adaptation process:
* Correct tank layout for the 777-200ER
* Correct engine specifications according to the GE-90-94B
* Correct weight for the 200ER
* David Ebeling's exell sheet fuel planner for 200ER being adapted to kg for the european users and according to the GE-90-94B
* adapted loadout of the PSS exell sheet to the 200ER

Since the developers requested to not upload any merge to Avsim etc. I will only distribute it via Email,
which is karel.vanhees@swiss-va.com

Also for the ones waiting for the 773ER merge with Meljet,
tommorow or sunday it will be ready for release!
The 772LR merge is already available!

Hi Leo!

I' am still having some little fuel consumption/power problems on the 200ER,
that I' am going to fix today, so there might be a little delay on the 773ER's release, but certainly tonight it will be done!

Reaching FL310 and keeping M.84 is very hard with a full load and that is not normal 200ER behaviour, also the engines should give 88.3%N1 and a FFof 3.5 at FL340 with GE90-94B where it in my current merge setup gives around 7.0FF and 92%N1...

It climbs even slower then an A340-200...
So still some work there!

Anyway I have the .CFG configured that the .Air file knows the correct dimensions of the 200ER, and the weight and tank position is correct!
I only need to test the autoland function properly when the correct power setting is ok!

Well...
after almost 2 weeks of work it's done!
the FF is correct, same as the N1 setting and the climb rate is ok now!

The 777-200ER is finished.

I still need to tweak the 772LR PSS/meljet merge because I noticed some balance issues, flap configs and Geometry problems, but the first release file I made earlier is already flyable.

Hi Guys,

I noted some users mailed me about the climb performance of the 777's,
I can assure you the performance of the PSS FDE is quite realistic at MTOW, altough I noted there is still a problem with the trim and tailplane geometry.

The climb rate from GL to FL330 with MTOW is about 30 to 45 minutes,
which is quite fast actually (realistically) compared to other aircraft.
While many add-ons of FSIM climb like a rocket it is either of two things,

1. they are loaded almost empty.
2. the FDE is not correctly setup.

In either way,
you can change the power value yourself,
I have put in instructions in the .CFG merge file how to adjust the thrustrange should you think it's underpowered! I personally have tweaked this a lot to have the most realistic 777-200ER performance while climbing.
currently the 200ER is at 94k lbs, 200LR is at 105k lbs and 300ER at 115k lbs.

Just to let you know that all files are in "frozen" condition now!
So there won't be any updates anymore unless some problems show up.

The maximum is out of the merges now, but please post you're thoughts and problems here in this thread!

Any comments are highly appreciated and can be used for further adaptation if possible!

Take note that I updated some values regarding the trim settings on the 300ER 200ER and 200LR.
It's still a mystery what caused the effect for the bad elevator effectiveness, but anyway it is fixed and the VR speed really is VR.
I advice all users to update.

I will give the CFG's here in a post, you need to download a specific Meljet 777 and paste everything manually.

Then you need to paste the PSS 777 panel, sound and .AIR file into the meljet 777, put the folder in aircraft and it should work!
