Nice Pics!

Funny have done exactly the same flight about 3 weeks ago! Very long flight actually never expected that it would take about 3 hours!

The FFX B735 in Estonian colors looks amazing congrats to the people who repainted it!

I have a challenge for all the flightsimmers out there: Get a pic of WN's "Shamu" flying in formation with (or chasing) Alaska's "Salmon Three Salmon".

Is that Concorde for FS9? Is she freeware? If the answer to both of those questions is yes, then where do I get her? I have not been able to find a decent Concorde for FS9. Had one for FS 2002 but she was not all great.

Yep, she's FS9 freeware, and she flies like a dream. In all honesty, it's probably the most stable-flying aircraft I've come across so far. And FAST, too. M2.04 at FL590 is no problem in this beauty. Go to FSFrance.com and check out their Mach 2 project:

http://www.fsfrance.com/Projets/Mach2/Main_eng.htm

It's a bit...different...to install it. Each file needs to be downloaded and run separately. They've made it so you download the plane first, then the common textures, night textures (or else it looks transparent, like a ghost), and finally the various liveries (each of which must be downloaded and run independently).

They've got every Concorde livery imaginable there, save for the Airport '79 textures, which someone here was kind enough to e-mail to me. I'd be happy to pass those textures along if you'd like them, though - I HAD to have 'em, since I've loved the movie since I was a kid.

Happy flying!

Second segment of WN 1467. MDW-ISP. Same plane, same snacks, plenty of Coca-Cola on board. Pushback from Gate G8 at 1:05 pm EST. ETA KISP is 3:00 pm EST.

Here we go!

Actual arrival time was 15 minutes late due to a go-around (Damn Cessna, get off the runway!)

Tomorrow we do ISP-SDF on something bigger than a 737.

Fantastic shots guys, but you already knew that!!

I'm hopefully getting a new graphics card at the beginning of next month, so my shots should be significantly better!!

I had the Nvidia FX5200 128MB until the start of last month when i got the XFX GeForce 6600GT 256MB. It works really great and the difference is really noticeable.
Just getting a new card will not only help but the display settings in FS is what makes the difference happen. In fact i should write a thread about this.

Another factor is to consider how much your willing to pay and also if you have an AGP or PCI-Express Motherboard.

I' am currently flying AF277 from NRT to CDG in the B777-328ER,
it is the famous unusual polar route and takes 14:40h!
(So far my longest on the records!)

I have included a cockpit and CDU shot from the magnificant PSS panel where you can enjoy the POLAR waypoints!
And off course the looooong jet itself! It flies like God himself created this magnificant jet: with a full load (349 ton) still in 45 minutes to FL330, thank you 330k lbs of thrust

this is my Merge for Meljet/PSS and has worked perfectly so far!
enjoy!

After the SID I take a direct route towards POLAR4, then POLAR3,2,1 and then directly to Spitsbergen where I reconnect with the normal airways to Paris! Or so is it done in reality!

Here you can enjoy the actual lenght of the 773ER, it's really long!

Here is the wing, note the raked wingtip!

I use an ATI X800XT Platinum Edition with 256MB,
it's a superb card! Bought it in august 2004 and was the top notch product, costed around 500 EUR. It was said that the card was very hard to get...

Anyway ATI has the X850XT now and is practically the same as an X800XT Platinum, only they have much easier techniques to manufacter the card, (so you will get them easier!) and a different MHZ of the clock. They are both cooled with blue-cooling lights and a fan.
I use custom ATI-DNA drivers for the Platinum card.

My graphics on the shots here are a bit derated due to the JPEG compression and the FSIM runs at lower AA specifications because they safe me a lot of FPS and still deliver great quality, setting the full options is simply stunning quality!

Good advice. My X800 handles FS very well. The problem with upgrding from a 9XXX is the move from AGP to PCI-e slots. Basically, for an effective upgrade you;d want to get a new socket 939 CPU, new mainboard and then the graphics card as well.

You can get AGP X800s but they are rare and expensive.
