FS2004: Problems With The Keys

Wed Jan 04, 2006 6:50 am

I installed FS2004 today. It loaded up all fine and dandy, but very few of the keys seem to work (I was using the same as for FS2002). I don't have a joystick enabled, as I do it by keys. Any ideas? Thanks.

The keys for FS9 are nearly identical to FS5, I doubt they've changed much between then and now...

So what could the problem be?

If you want to change the key assignments, just go to options and find the controls page, and change it!

Sorry, I wasn't clear. When I use the keys for FS2004, nothing happens, except when I press 'L' for lights and two particular views. The box for the joystick isn't ticked, so it can't be that. I don't know what it could be. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch.

I'm not entirely sure what your problem is Pe@rson. Sounds like you don't have any key assignments for some reason or other.

Try going to: Start/All Programs/Microsoft Games/FS2004/TroubleShooting/Reset Defaults

You will lose any settings you have, so be sure to make a note of them. I'm not sure if that will work, but it is worth a try.  Smile

Let us know if you have any luck!
