Where Can I Find Snap Together Aviation Models

Tue Jan 31, 2006 4:04 am

Where can I find snap together aviation models (as found on-board aircraft), within Europe or the US. (Preferably Europe as faster shipping to me).

Ebay. Thats where I get *all* my aircraft from! Started off with 1:200 snapfit, and migrated to 1:400 diecast, as they are much easier to display, cheaper in some cases and they are more detailed in most cases.

I got all of these (with the exception of Air Force 1) at either the Boeing Store, Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, and the Steven Udvar-Hazy Museum (at Dulles).

You can also order from: http://www.flightminiatures.com/indexAL01_05.html

My glass is neither 1/2 empty nor 1/2 full, rather, the glass itself is twice as big as it should be.

Here is a very good website where you can order snap together aviation models.
Unfortunately in German, but as a French speaker I find that website really easy-to-navigate  bigthumbsup
All my models come from it, ordered only via my computer !
Swissair forever !

if you want detailed snap fit, go for Hogan. They are amazing and not expensive at all.1/200 and a lot of ac/liveries.
try:
www.theairplaneshop.com
www.eztoyz.com

or just google it.

I have a few(plus +50 gemini/dragon/tucano/aeroclassics) and they are very good.
