Does Anyone Know Of A Freeware Fsactivecam Program

Thu Feb 09, 2006 8:03 pm

Hi!

I am enjoying my pmdg aircraft very much and I like to "move" around in the cockpit. But if I want to move around in the aircraft cabin aswell, I need to download an addon for fs, right? I have heard about one called active cam or something like that but it only works in the seattle area, unless you want to buy the product, so what I am asking for is a freeware program that allows me to move around in the cabin.

Thankyou in advance!

There's no freeware version of anything like ActiveCamera. That said, it's completely worth the $15, and I highly recommend that you purchase it. I consider it an essential add-on, and wouldn't sim without it again. If you like virtual cockpits/cabins, it's a must.

I purchased Active Camera yesterday, but I have to say I wasn't very impressed with it. I am surprised it is payware to be honest (albeit very cheap payware). Just my opinion!!

Search for f1view.zip on Avsim. It's not as comprehensive as something like Active Camera but it does allow you to move about the virtual cockpit and cabin without limits. Plus being free you can't beat the price.
If you love yourself, go now to western union and send me the sum of $10,000 to save your life.

Active Camera is the best when it comes to VC view, for external views I highly recommend the $26 Walk & Follow from DBS Studio (www.igfly.com)
These two can co-exist in FS to get a superb viewing experience.
I don't know of any freeware add-on that comes close to those two, well worth the money. If you just wanna go with one of them, go for Walk & Follow.

This is done with Walk & Follow:
747 Landing
Airliners.net Crew-Head Support
5D Mark III, 7D, 17-40 F4 L, 70-200 F2.8 L IS, EF 1.4x II, EF 2x III, SPEEDLITE 600EX-RT
