How Do I Activate More Than One Runway In FS2002?

Thu Mar 16, 2006 9:08 pm

Yesterday when I was doing ARN-AMS, I had to go around 3 times due to very intense traffic. Is there some way that make the ATC use multiple runways when there is a lot of traffic?
I have the program AFCAD but I don't know how to use it.

I did a search and didn't find the answer to my question...
A319-A321, A332-A333, RJ85, B733-B738, B743-B744, B752, B762-B764, B772-B773, CRJ200-CRJ700, Dash 8 Q300-Q400, ERJ 145,

OKay, You have AFCAD open up the airport you want to edit in AFCAD. After that right click on the runway you want to open up for Landing/takeoff and select Properties from the menu. When the Runway Properties you should see
"Closed for Takeoff
Closed For Landing" check marks they should be Checked so uncheck them.

Hope that helped

james,

Open up AFCAD (If you have this program by Lee Swordy) and when you open AFCAD up look in the top left corner of the toolbar you'll see "File" click that and in the dropdown window choose open airport type in the ICAO code of the airport you want to edit. after that click search and you'll see a list of the airports that match yor search and select the one you want. That is how you open the airport.

Thanks for that!!! I decided to make my own airport last night in the middle of no-where but i dont know how to make AI traffic fly out and land there, If its any help I have Ultimate Traffic. So does anyone know how to set some airlines to fly to there.
