Hey, yes on the overhead, there is a little change in the airconditioning system, and the main panel now has a ISDF digital all in one standby instrument instead of the older altimeter AOA and speed gauges. it really is a great aircraft so go get it Big grin

Still doing QF 107 this is a very long flight! especially with an average of 45Kts of headwind, still have about 4H.35M to LAX, my FMC is programmed for a RWY 25R Landing.

For this flight at 80,000 Lbs payload i had to take 382,000 Lbs of fuel to keep the fuel reserve parameters ok. So this flight especially going eastbound takes the 744 to the limits for its maximum payload/range. Takeoff was with 856,000 Lbs.

Happly Flyin Big grin

RE: Your Current FS Flights V4

Sun Mar 26, 2006 8:32 am

Just made a flight to DFW with the Dreamfleet 727-100 in AA colours, and the flight was great, yet something got horribly wrong with the autopilot on finals. The aircraft started pitching up and down, then I took her into manual control and it ended in a horrible stall on the runway. Oh well, I'll redo that flight sometime in the coming week.

So, to not end the weekend with crash and burn in my mind, I'm going to do a short hop once again to HAM, this time from AMS and with the best damn regional jet ever built. Big grin

Airline: KLM - Royal Dutch Airlines
Aircraft: Fokker 100 (PH-OFF, operated by KLM Cityhopper)
Flight number: KL1781
Departure Airport: Amsterdam/Schiphol Airport, The Netherlands (AMS/EHAM)
Destination: Hamburg (Fuhlsbüttel) Airport, Germany (HAM/EDDH)
Departure time: 12:45
Arrival time: 13:50
Cruise speed: Mach .76
Cruise altitude: 29000 feet
Estimated time on route: 1 hour 5 minutes

I'm pulling PH-OFF from its Cityhopper UK ops and put her into main Citiyhopper ops. I hope I can get around FS ATC and make the takeoff from the Kaagbaan, to avoid the usual traffic jams at 36 C and 36 R (for some reason, FS ATC doesn't send any aircraft to the Polderbaan, and for me the Polderbaan is just too far away).

I will be flying a looong non-stop journey:

I will start on it tonight, and then let it fly for 24 hours, because that is how long it is going to take  Silly I will use an Air New Zealand 747-400 and remove all weight from it only having fuel onboard, and if I still don't have enough fuel, well too bad because most of the flight will be over water Big grin I will cheat a little though and put it on unlimited fuel and pretend like I have ekstra fuel tanks onboard.

Last flight was a Thomas Cook B757-300 flight from Palma to Gatwick. Pretty average really, tons of charters at either end.

Quoting GEEZ (Reply 38):
27/03/06 _ AA951 _ 2220 JFK _ 0940+1 GRU _ B772 N777AN
28/03/06 _ AA906 _ 2250 GRU _ 0450+1 MIA _ B772 N777AN
29/03/06 _ AA908 _ 0735 MIA _ 0945 DFW _ B772 N777AN
29/03/06 _ AA050 _ 1705 DFW _ 0905+1 LGW _ B772 N---AN
30/03/06 _ AA173 _ 1400 LGW _ 1620 RDU _ B772 N---AN
30/03/06 _ AA174 _ 1845 RDU _ 0805+1 LGW _ B772 N---AN
31/03/06 _ AA051 _ 1125 LGW _ 1430 DFW _ B772 N---AN

Well, I did the first 2 of the above flights using N777AN...

The AA908 i switched aircraft and used N762AN as I realised that the 908 was a 2 leg flight originating in Buenos Aires, so I couldnt use N777AN for it!

The AA050 was axed and now I am currently flying the BA2192 DFW-LGW, using G-VIIC...

Therefore, the AA173, 174 and 051 are cancelled!

This is also the first time in a while that I fly out of a city that is higher than SJO. The last time I did that was with an F9 A318 out of the Mile High City, flying DEN-SFO.
