The nice thing about flying this plane is that you can go to so many places and imitate the real flights it does for the royal families, such as to Munich, Basel, London LHR, Singapore etc.

RE: Your Current Flights V7

Mon Jun 12, 2006 3:32 pm

Just took off flying AA 2155 DFW-CCS in a 737-800 (PMDG 737 800 with VC and wingview, views by Active Camera).

Currently just leveled off at temporary cruise altitude of FL350, which I reached just on top of SHV. In 20 miles I'll make a right turn to heading 129 bringing me closer to my Gulf of Mexico crossing. I work for AA and am using an actual flight plan that I printed from the computer at work, so I punched in all the waypoints from the flight they did on the 9th. I'm not up to par, it seems, as I've somehow managed to burn almost 3000lbs more fuel (putting me kind of low on fuel) and I wasn't climbing as quickly either. Maybe when I hit FL390 in a while, which is the flight plan's final altitude, things will work out a bit better.
See, I knew American Eagle was first class all along!

Ah yes, the Rolls Royce version! I spotted G-YMMM at IAH as it was doing the LHR-ORD-IAH service as BA295 back in April. I saw G-YMML there on Saturday doing the same service.

Hope your flight went well.

Yes, the RR equipped 777's don't operate the BA295/294 service as much as the GE aircraft, but will do from time to time. Not a lot of people know this but BA's 777 fleet are assigned to operate certain routes, predominantly because of their varying seating configurations, so more often than not, the likes of G-YMML and G-YMMM will be operating to places such as Harare, Luanda, Shanghai, Beijing etc.

I only used G-YMMM for the 157/156 LHR-KWI-LHR flight because it was assigned to that trip that evening in the real world.

Quoting DFW13L (Reply 9):
Hope your flight went well.

It went very well thanks...
I departed Heathrow late sunday night on the outbound (BA157), approx 2 hours behind schedule, therefore my return flight (BA156) had a delayed start, but as I stated above...

Plus I planned this for sometime in the future. Last time I flew VS was on a fictional SJO-LHR flight with the A343, which I just recently started dominating again. This flight will have the regular 747 swapped with an A346 (Henry Lidster finally released his VS A346 repaint for the CLS A340-600).

Airline: Virgin Atlantic Airways
Aircraft: Airbus A340-642 (G-VSSH, Sweet Dreamer)
Flight number: VS19

If the VS flight goes well, I just might think about giving the VS version of the Kangaroo Route a try.

I landed in Nuremberg about 90 minutes ago (See screenshot), BA9109 from Heathrow, carrying England football fans to England's game with Trinidad & Tobago!

Approaching ILS Runway 10 at Nuremberg... (Sorry, had to post this, as I feel its one of my most realistic looking shots!)

Again I used the BA 777, G-YMMK as it has 'England Football' titles on it!

What makes me laugh about that picture is that in the photographers description it says "Displaying the world cup sticker...not for much longer!" - The photo was taken during the last world cup in 2002, and the 'sticker' is still on the aircraft to this day, and also, G-YMMJ has the sticker on it...still!

I depart Nuremberg approximately 3 hours after the final whistle, at 2100 local time, back to Heathrow on BA9108.

Just checked ACARS...this aircraft landed as the BA064 this morning, before ferrying to LGW from what I can gather [BA9172] and is currently operating to Bermuda as the BA2233! Happy days

Im currently on BA109, then BA108 back to Heathrow (STA at LHR, 1340)

Im then off to Denver as BA219 (STD 1545) same aircraft, G-YMMN, and BA218 return.
And then to Chris' favourite haunt, Luanda! BA077/076! Again, G-YMMN.

Passengers current Opinion: Exceptional Flight at present
-Are satisfied because they have had a drink.
-Are satisfied because they have had some food.

Hostess Advice:
-Crew is serving food & drinks (13%).

I am doing this fictional flight, so far not so good, I am 431 nautical miles off course, which causes a lot of trouble on an 8,000 mile flight. Well who cares its only a game.

By the way, for ANYONE that flies a 777 on FS2004, you MUST get the soundset I am using. It is AWESOME and so realistic. The song of the 777.... ahhh just beautiful. I could listen to it forever. With the engines at around 40% N1 RPM, if you spool it between 35-45% repeatedly you get the most enticingly wonderful and exotic assortment of frequencies. It is by Devyn J. Silverstein just search his name on www.avsim.com and GET THIS SOUND!

NH and JL cram in over 500 PAX in their Domestic 773As, so it shouldn't be a problem.  Wink

Didn't know JAL and ANA would do that. I know they have shiploads of seats in the 744D.

I am in Cologne at the moment, having arrived approximately 4 hours ago with another world cup special from Heathrow.

I had planned on using G-YMMK again, but that went out on the BA093 to Toronto, so G-VIIK, which had been in maintenance for a few days, was used instead.

I am working the London - Dublin route today with Aer Lingus.

EI163 1325 LHR 1440 DUB
EI174 1545 DUB 1705 LHR
EI175 1810 LHR 1925 DUB
EI192 2015 DUB 2130 LHR

As luck would have it, EI-CPD is operating these flights today in the real world, and I only have one IFDG Aer Lingus A321, registration EI-CPD! So it's like for like, as it is with my BA 777 flights!

It was rather windy out there today.. the Dublin-bound flights seemed to take forever due to the headwind of 104 knots! - However this made the Heathrow-bound flights much more fun as my highest recorded ground speed reached a whopping 587 knots at Mach 0.80, with the tailwind clocking in at 101 knots!
