I Hate Windows & FS!

Tue Aug 08, 2006 6:57 am

Hi guys!

I was just on approach to KCVG after a 10 hour flight, and bang, my machine locked up... argggggg!

I remember someone mentioning a program that saves the flight every so often, can anyone recommend any?

Get a Mac, then you won't have to worry about either of them.

You need the Autosave DLL (filename: autosave.zip). You can get it from AvSim or FlightSim.

Probably Microsoft programming FS9 to lock up close to the release so that we buy FSX lol.

I feel for you mate.

Usually Windows gives me the Blue Screen of Death at the worst possible moment. LHR, Vatsim and Landing on Final comes to mind.....
An Engineer made a bet that a 747 Gear wouldn't retract in a Hangar. He lost the bet.

Do a ghostfile after you reinstall everything in case you need to reinstall it again. Many programs to chose from, check out Norton Ghost 9 for instance. Can be a real life and timesaver.
