|Quoting DeltaWings (Reply 2):|
On Delta Virtual Airlines you have loads of free good quality aircraft.
However, you have to be a member (doesn't cost anything), before that you have to take a test.
It's worth it, you don't find any other aircraft for free out there that are as good as those
I would seriously reconsider if I was to join a VA just so I could download their airplanes.
DVA, IIRC, doesn't have any exclusive models that are just for them. They use the same aircraft that you can find on AVSIM or FlightSim.com or any other Flight Simulator website. Their A310 is the HNAC
model, for instance, their L1011 and 727 models are from Vistaliners
, their 737-200 is by Kittyhawk (no website avaliable since they were dissolved, but most of the base files are avaliable on FlightSim.com), the MD
-80 and MD
-90 series is by FFX/SGA (same deal as Kittyhawk), their 747, 757, and 767 are by Project Open Sky
, and the 777 is by MelJet
Going back to the original question, I can help you find three of the aircraft you're looking for. Vistaliners, which I linked to, is about to release their L1011, and the beta is already out. Historic Jetliners Group
makes a killer 707 as well as some other retro jetliners, and Aircraft Repaints New Zealand (ARNZ)
has models of all three different types of BAe 146s/Avro RJs. I highly recommend Matthias Lieberecht's panel
to use with the BAe, since it's near-payware quality and comes with a detailed, 175-page operations manual.
