FS2004 Planes Go To White Screen In FSX FOG

Fri Oct 27, 2006 1:46 am

Anyone having problems with your FS2004 aircraft that you imported to FSX, when you fly into Fog in FSX? 2D cockpit may work fine, but when you try to change views or go to spot plane, the entire screen shows the view for 1 second then goes to completely white screen. Its a bit annoying when real world weather starts adding a fog layer and I lose my views, and I have to turn the fog off to see my plane when landing.

Is this my system or are others having the issue? is there a feature in FSX in graphics settings that causes this?

Yes I am, I tried to delete the last topic, cause I think "FOG" sounds a bit clearer then low visibility

Ah, fair enough. I thought the first thread was clear enough, though. I just can't answer it.  Smile

Well its easier to pinpoint and get to the issue by selecting FOG in the weather conditions to get the result right away.

I unchecked tooltips, tried the boxes all unchecked for aircraft detail, but nothing happened still.

I still get a white screen if I look at the right/left/back view of the 2D mode and also the SPOT view is completely white out.

I guess Ill have to be stuck flying in FAIR weather everywhere if I want to use my FS2004 planes.  Sad unless I can figure out whats going on.

Well, if you put it like that...  Smile

I'm guessing you're talking freeware. FSX versions will be along soon, I'm sure.
