CH Yoke FS9 Questions

Sat Oct 28, 2006 3:51 am

Hi, I just bought the CH yoke for flight simulator and I have a couple of questions.

First of all, whenever I start a flight, then hit "alt" to change a setting or find a flight plan or whatever, when I come back, the engines have shut down. Does anyone know why this would be? I havent changed any of the default settings on the yoke (yet).

Another question: is there any way to set buttons on the yoke to respond to prompts in the ATC box? It is almost always to hit 1 (or maybe 2), and I hate leaning forward to the keyboard (i am using a laptop). Looking through the assignments box, there doesn't seem to be an option for this, but maybe someone has an idea.

thanks!

Chuck
