I did until a few months ago, along with FS9, but now I am FS9 only...

I would upgrade but I have $180 in upgrades and only 50% of them are FS9 compatable plus ive logged thousands of hours and wish not to lose them(including my cousins hours and grandfathers hours.)

I used FS2K2 up untill a few weeks ago when FSX came out. I liked the very friendly framerates they had and just added things onto it to make it more realistic.

I'm guessing the framerates from FSX aren't quite so friendly.  Wink

Yes! I'm still happily using it. What are the differences between FS2002 and FS2004? Any nice little extra's in it? Would it be worth in investing into FS2004? I am tempted by FX however I doubt my computer would survive.

The only thing I see in FS9 (2004) as compared to FS8 (2002), are more airplanes, but most importantly, more realistic clouds and weather.

Personally, I think you should. While the differences aren't that great, I think they are enough to be noticeable. And with FSX on the market now, FS9 is hardly an investment.  Wink

I can't remember how it worked in FS2002 but the log is a plain text file in FS9. You can merge old logs with new logs in Notepad and they're pretty easy to import into Excel if you need to make changes to the format.

That's not bad I guess as the fs2002 weather isn't brilliant.

What about running requirements. Is there much differences?
