Pmdg FMC Keyboard Mode!

Sun Apr 15, 2007 5:30 am

Im sure some of you already know this...

I do consider myself to be a PMDG 744 "Expert" but i just found out if you go to the FMC click next to the letters O or T and on the FMC display on the bottom right the green message "KBD" will appear, this means keyboard mode and you can now enter all the waypoints, numbers etc. over your keyboard! to turn this off again press next to O or T and "KBD" will dissapear and the function will be off again.

i cant believe i never found this out!! lol

I guess i will have to stick with "RTFM" (Read The Fu*king Manual) now...  Silly Big grin

Ah the old RTFM Trick

I remember those days, now I just throw the manual into the depths of my desk and learn myself.

Thanks for sharing your Discovery it will save me and alot of other people alot of time Big grin

Just beware that keyboard mode can pose some problems if you're using Active Camera...anytime you hit the "X" key, it's going to switch to walk-around mode. Not sure which party is to blame on that one.
Picked a hell of a week to quit sniffing glue.
