Some Help With The 757/767 Cockpit- Captain Sim

Sat Jun 16, 2007 4:06 am

Hey everyone. I just got two pay wares and they are great except I haven't been able to figure out how to use the heading hold in auto pilot. Can anyone let me know? This is a screen shot from the Level D 767 cockpit.

You have to press the SEL button, the little knob you use to change the heading number that is. And then the HDG light will go out and itll turn onto the heading. Thats how i remember it.

heading hold in auto pilot

Push the Heading Hold switch. The aircraft rolls wings level then holds that heading. (That's the real airplane, anyway.)

You don't have electrical power applied. See all the red flags? See how nothing is in any of the LED windows? You have to get the battery on and AC power applied. If the engines are running take the generator switches to reset, then on. If that fails you have a simulation issue.

We don't get too many real airline pilots looking in at the "toy aircraft" threads - it's much appreciated.  Smile

You know, I stumbled here by accident, but some of these more esoteric questions stop and make me think, and they are a good systems review!  Smile
