Level D 767-300ER. You should see the cockpit along with the cockpit effects voice warnings, FMC etc.. If you scroll views from inside the cockpit to outside the aircraft the engines sound so realistic. Supposidly commercial pilots swear by this simulation. There is a bulky operations manual but as I just recently bought this I'm really pleased.

I hear PMDC is great too.

For freeware on the 737-700 if you want a simple repaint to you're default 737 aircraft in FS2004 then I really like the 737-700 Continental repaint at various websites.

And possibly 767-400 ER Delta repaint since the cockpit is really simular to the 777

Kaitak buy some Payware AC then you will realize that all the freeware stuff really isn't that good. I always fly either the PMDG747 or the Overland World Airline package. Rarely if ever do i fly freeware

The top ones out there are the PMDG 744, the LevelD 763, and some would say the PSS 777. All great, all very realistic, and all expensive...but worth it  Smile

i have PMDG 737 NG's
747-400 freighter and Queen of the skies
Captain Sim and PSS 757

personally, favourite of all of them is the 737
for 757, PSS is of much higher quality but had massive framerate issues last time i used it. thats why i got the captainsim 757. still a great add-on

any1 know whether the PSS 777 has the same FPS effect as the 757 does?
been wanting a payware 777 for a while

Quoting Evers (Reply 6):

Nope the PSS 777 is pretty good on frame rates. On landing in the VC with 100% traffic i can get about 20fps which is a knock of maybe 3 or 4 fps. I highly recommend it. Some say the external model isn't the best but I think its pretty good to be honest.

Well I have a few.
Flight on DC-9 is very nice and realistic, some real flying.
PSS 777 and 757 good FMCs and overheads panels are great, some what realistic but the best add ons for those two planes, and I love flying the 777-200LR across the world non-stop.
737-700 PMDG a great add on.
The two best IMO.
Wilco 737-300/400/500. Great add on, very realistic, sounds are great, panels are great, everything is great.
And RFP 747-200/200F. Very Very Realistic, all the panels of the 742 and random engine fires and flameouts. It was great I was flying Nadi-Auckland in the 742 about 2 years ago and at about 8,000ft fire bell rings and I had to put the fire out, went back to the airport and made a three engine landing. It was great. Very realistic and some real flying there to no glass cockpit. FE panels and all. Another one of my favourites to fly across the Atlantic.
And if you want a nice turbo prop for short hauls nothing better than the PSS Dash-8-300  Smile
I be looking at getting Level D 767 later this year or next year. Heard only great things about it, I would want to get the FS2Crew with it too.

Quoting Kaitak744 (Thread starter):
Boeing 737NGs --- Project Opensky

POSKY is the best on freweware 737NGs, but the PMDG is the best panel out there.

Quoting Kaitak744 (Thread starter):
Boeing 747 classics --- Project Opensky

Agreed

Quoting Kaitak744 (Thread starter):
Boeing 747-400 --- ???

PMDG, no doubt, but it´s cost is extreme for only one plane, i´m stuck with the POSKY models.

Quoting Kaitak744 (Thread starter):
Boeing 757 --- Project Opensky

Altougth i have the Captain SIm i prefered the POSKY.

Quoting Kaitak744 (Thread starter):
Boeing 767 --- Project Opensky

Level-D payware is the best, POSKY models are excellent too.

Quoting Kaitak744 (Thread starter):
Boeing 777 --- ???

Meljet is still the best (and only) freeware of this family of planes, the overland are also a great option.

Quoting Kaitak744 (Thread starter):
Airbus A320x --- iFDG

Altougth the project airbus is an excellent plane too, it´s lack of flexing wings makes me stick with the IFDG models. (but both are great), the overland mdels have a funny nose, but frankly, i think they´re not better thant the Freeware ones.

Quoting Kaitak744 (Thread starter):
Airbus A330 --- Project Opensky

Overland model are excellent too, i can choose indiferently since both are great, same goes for the POSKY vs Oveland A340 "classics"

Quoting Kaitak744 (Thread starter):
Airbus A340-200/-300 --- Project Opensky

Indiferent on Overland and POSKY

Quoting Kaitak744 (Thread starter):
Airbus A340-500/-600 --- ???

Overland / CLS

Quoting Kaitak744 (Thread starter):
Airbus A380 --- ??? (Is there a realistic one out yet?)

Overland is the closest one.

The best add-ons I have used are the PMDG 747-400, Level D 767 and PSS777.
The panel on the PSS is great for the 777 but I was never that keen on the model so I created a merge with the meljet model and PSS panel which gives the best of both.
