Gemini Jets CO 738WL - Great Job! How About AA 738

Fri Sep 21, 2007 1:07 am

Gemini Jets did a fantastic job with the re-release of the 738, with winglets. It is beautiful. I hope they re-release the AA 737-800 with winglets in both chrome and polished! That will be a HOT item! Sooooo beautiful! So GJ, let's get onto it! As they've already done the 738 w/o WL for AA, I want them to do with winglets! sooo nice!

I have seen the CO 738 and it is nice. An AA 738WL would be nice too, and a 757WL for AA and CO.

Herpa has an AA 738Winglets, its 1/400 scale, its obviously not as good as gemini but its not bad.

I know they have a US comming out, an AA and CO would be neat.

Now they just need a CO737-700W and a WN 733W

It would be nice to see more American LCC.

Herpa's AA 738WL is a joke. The tires broke!!! ;( !!!!
That's why I want GJ to make it because they have more durable tires on theirs. Anyways, let's see what comes out next. The US 757 with winglets is really beautiful. I love their new livery. It would have also looked quite sharp on their old livery too, don't you think? AA is stunning. Simply stunning. CO is really nice. :P but AA looks better!

From what I've seen, it rivals the quality of Gemini's models. Herpa has some really bad 1:400 scale molds, and others that are simply amazing; their 737-800WL mold is one of the latter.

It's a little on the pricey side, though (at least compared to other 737s), retailing for an average of around $30.

Did they just randomly break, or were you doing something with the model? The only difference between the tires on Gemini and Herpa models is that Gemini is now beginning to offer rolling rubber tires on their newer models. Unfortunately, they haven't gotten around to upgrading their 737-800.

What is it with Herpa and that cheap translucent plastic on the engines? The 200-scale stuff's the same. All the other plastic is fine, but their engines suck.

That is one sweet model! Will get it as soon as possible.

I just wish they'd release more of their brilliant regional jets with european paintjobs.
