Which Airlines Sell Their Own Aircraft Models?

Fri Nov 02, 2007 3:22 pm

Hi all!

I recently found out about LX's new online shop and learne dthat they sell models of their Avro RJ, A320 and A343 in 1/400 scale, along with a few higher scale models, at quite good prices.
http://www.swiss-shop.com/products/p...Swiss_And_Aviation/Flugzeugmodelle

That made me wonder, what other airlines sell their own models online and/or on board?

I did some brief search and came up with LH's worldshop, where they sell some nice 1/200 models and 1/500 models, but unfortunately no 1/400. http://www.worldshop.eu/products/pro...hansa_And_Aviation/Flugzeugmodelle

Who else knows of airlines that sell their own models, preferably online? I'm particularely interested in 1/400 scale models. Please post a link if possible.

Cheers
Sandro

Well, a couple:

Austrian at http://www.aua.com/at/eng/Austrian/Jetshop/
Aeroflot at http://www.aviacollection.com/index.php?lang=en
Air Canada http://www.e-collection.ca/signatures/c-4-model-aircraft.aspx?skinid=1
SAS http://www.crossroads.se/saswebshop/default.asp?language=en
Also i think Wideroe is working on a new webshop (you can find Wideroe models in SK´s webshop too).

I guess all of these sell them onboard too. In addition, here is a couple who sell models on board

Norwegain (can also be bought at their ticket-counter at OSL)
CSA (can also be bought in their taxfree-shops at PRG)
BA
Finnair (not on all flights)

SAA have a memento shop in their head office at JNB where you can buy models of most of SAA's aircraft past and present, in most of the liveries, even the old DC-4s and JU-52. You can buy a couple on board the international flights.
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

Singapore airlines and Cathay Pacific also sell them too... They can be found in the KrisShop and CXitment shop respectively. SQ has got lots of collections of old livery aircraft and A380s as well. It's worthy to buy it. CX has got them and also cabin crew doll in uniforms too.
