Simulator Control Exercise

Wed Nov 07, 2007 4:59 pm

Today I was at the EPST pilot college in Utrecht, the Netherlands, to do an exam with their COMPASS method.

The first exercise was to control a fast moving point on a horizontal line (being the rudder of the aircraft) with my feet. Thereby we had to simultaneous control a fast moving point on a vertical line (being the horizon indicator) with a joystick.

This exercise was completely new for me and very difficult to control.

Does anyone of you have any suggestion to practise this exercise at home? Without any expensive new purchasing game-order needed??

Best regards,
