Concorde & B-2707-300 Models

Mon Dec 24, 2007 6:45 pm

This year was the twentieth anniversary of our one and only Concorde flight. My wife and I flew half way to Hawaii and back to Oakland on F-BVFF. In commemoration of the wonderful experience, I contracted to make a reproduction of the bird. It looked great on our coffee table, but I decided I wanted to expand the display. I commissioned another SST, this time the Boeing 2707-300, and I had it built to the same scale of the Concorde model to satisfy my curiosity of what might have been. I think they make a startling pair. I thought I'd share the attached images of the models together for all to enjoy.
Big version: Width: 1200 Height: 709 File size: 131kb
Big version: Width: 959 Height: 1200 File size: 144kb
Big version: Width: 1200 Height: 597 File size: 80kb
Bigger planes & bigger windows? Thanks, but I'd rather you fly me faster!
