Video Of Incredible RC Skills (structural Failure)

Sun Mar 09, 2008 12:47 am

Saw this yesterday and I think it's too awesome not to share. In a nut shell, an RC pilot loses the entire left wing of his aircraft yet manages to "land" the thing.

Incredible.
Just when I think you've said the stupidest thing ever, you keep talkin'!

Wow, this must've taken some skill.
I believe this topic should be in Aviation Hobby.

Don't suppose they need that much lift that one wing can't generate enough. Bloody good piloting skills there!

It's a "3D" airplane. These planes have extremely light wing loadings and a ridiculous power to weight ratio. I fly one. I'm not surprised he pulled it off.
