Amazing Shuttle Simulator

Sun Apr 27, 2008 8:00 am

As Murray Walker might say, and my goodness - this is quite incredible.  Smile

This is one of the most amazing computer simulations I've ever seen of anything - and I've seen some good ones.

Sad that they always have to use fake comms.  Sad

I've printed out the manual. I'll have a good read... and probably end up buying it. Damn you!  grumpy

Looks very impressive! I think I'll buy myself a present after I finish what will be my school certificate exams in a few weeks. Only US$50, that's fairly cheap, hopefully the conversion rate will improve for us even more.

So, did anyone buy this? It still seems to be on the go with a service pack released just a few days ago... but I haven't seen any feedback.

Great game. But just so you know it is not an "Easy" game in fact it more like like a Real Simulator than MSFS. There is a lot of reading and it takes a long time to learn the Panals. But if you like the high end aircraft you can buy for MSFS like Level-D and what not, Then you should get SSM 07.

I think anyone would be asking for trouble thinking this is a "game". For the record, I'm a big fan of the PMDG 744 and not much into games.  Smile

I was looking for the thoughts of anyone who's put the full version through it's paces. Any major quirks or quibbles with it? I would just have expected a bit more raving about it if it's as good as it seems it might be.

David
If you can handle the PMDG 747-400 then SSM 07 is right down your ally! Stop thinking and buy it!! Thing I love about is you need to think about whats happening 1,5,10 mins down the road or things get away from you, This "Game" is about running the systems because the actual FLYING is only about the last 10mins of a mission that can take you aanywhere from 6 hours to two days to finish.

OK, I'll plug away at the demo a bit longer. What I really want is the AirSimmer A320 but I'm starting to get restless waiting for it.  Smile
