Airline Empires - A.net Airline Alliance

Sat May 10, 2008 6:57 pm

As a reset is coming the the Airline Empires games this weekend, the A.net Airline Alliance in this game is looking for a couple more airlines to add to the alliance, to strengthen our global hold, and a game reset is the best time to do it.

If there are any other a.netters on Airline Empires who wish to be part of the Alliance, drop me a message, and I'll take care of it. It's not a guaranteed entry, and you must give a good summary of your expansion plans.

Other than that, how's everyone in the game doing? And, what do you think of the reset this weekend?

Cheers
Carson

Congestion diddnt bother me, wasnt a problem to me. Its typical of every round, what does bother me is that miller planned to run the game to 2007 with all the aircraft in between. so we could play an entire generation and we went 15 years..just stupid.

15 years.
That is 180 months.
1 month = 1 real day.

I didn't realize I had been playing this round for the past 6 months.

Addictions can really spin outta control huh?

I really didint find all that much congestion. I focused on flying between the spokes of the larger airlines hubs, and there were a ton of amazingly profitable routes there. I have on that makes 25,000 on a once a day non round trip. I have one that makes 90,000 on 2 return trips, in a DC-6! There are a ton of good routes left even in places that look totaly full such as the US. Anyways, there is nothing we can do to change it.
As long as the number of take-offs equals the number of landings...you're doing fine.

I was hoping that the Sim 1 game would go to 2007.  Sad I was doing very good with my airline V8 Fusion Airlines. Right now I bought some used aircraft and started random routes that only make $4,000 profit. I will play next round and start short routes in the United States that make a lot of profit. Does anyone know what year the game will start?

The game is still going? I can remember when I first started playing this game back in late 2004. After several resets I have stopped playing the game. Haven't played the game since late 2006. Last time I checked my airline was still in the system.
