GeForce Nvidia 9600 GT (Superclocked)

Sun Jun 22, 2008 6:32 am

Does anyone have the 9600GT? If so, how does it run on FS9? Really nicely? Im looking at a Alienware desktop that includes one.

Thanks!  Smile

I'll tell you from experience, the graphics card doesn't have as much to do with the performance of the game as does RAM, and processor speed. I have an Nvidia 9800GX2 SSC, and all it really does is make the game look REALLY nice, but the processor is still slow, so frame rates don't improve much. I would first make sure you have a Nice processor, and 4GB of RAM.

If you already have that, then you should get great results from the 9600.

Just a word of caution, my PC repair guy says be wary of Alienware. Look at some other alternatives, and you could save a grand or two.
