Hope you are all having a nice summer.

Hi all...
Hope everyone is having a nice month of August...
We've been working VERY hard and right now are completing the production of our 5th new program to be released in the next few months... and in addition to that our film crews have completed another 4-5 programs which will go into production soon... so all in all 10 new programs being worked on for the WAR series at this time...

I would say that they're all small to medium size airlines, our preferred choice, and about half are airlines new to the series while the others are airlines we've already filmed in the past. Its always a good sign when an airline wants you back for more filming I'd say...
It gets hard to find new airlines when you've filmed more than 200 of them...

So the plan for the remainder of the year starting in early September is to have a new release every 2 weeks or so...

That's about all the news for now.
Cheers from Boston!

It really depends when... most people are on the road most of the time... The only thing that's there all the time is the warehouse but its not open to the public and it would be a boring visit, trust me... just rows and rows of boxes stacked up...

Does this include re-releases? So is there a possibility of seeing a "new" dvd almost every week? Also which friday will the 1st one be released?

Either way this is great to hear, and i'm looking forward to what you guys have coming up.

All the titles mentioned above are new programs... no re-releases are in the schedule yet but I believe 1 sold out program is about to be confirmed for a re-release and talks about a video program to be re-released on DVD... so those 2 would be additional... maybe more who knows...

Unfortunately we're not... We don't film as much as we once used to...
In 2003 we filmed nearly 500 flights but now that number is more around 150 to 200 a year and the staff we have easily covers that.

The Air Greenland has been on my list for quite some while, as well as the WestJet one just for the fact of my local airport being in it.

For those who do not get our emails, in celebration of the Olympics at Beijing we're offering the Beijing Airport DVD for $8 for the next few days... (There is a min order of $20 on our website though)...
This offer is not advertised on our website at this time, if interested just order the DVD and instead of $25 the price will automatically change to $8...

1st release Existing airline with a new program (record running time)
2nd release New airline joining the series (our 200th!)
3rd release Existing airline but airline doesnt exist anymore...
but an unusual type of program... should be exciting
4th release New airline
5th release Existing airline with a new program
6th release Re-release of a sold out program
Those are the ones that are listed on the website so far...

Have a nice weekend!

This sounds mysterious Yes an existing airline but does not exist could mean an airline that has changed name eg Hapag Lloyd now TUIfly or a company such as Nationwide. one that did exist but is now no more

6th release Re-release of a sold out program

I have this programe but i hope it is the Austrian Airbus A-330 as i understand it is a popular programme.

What ever comes out i am sure they will have a difficult road ahead of them trying to live up to the reputation of the previous relases, though i'm sure they will give it a good try.

JP I have just been browsing your great new website and have one little suggestion you could think over. In the "List of Airports" page off the homepage it would be good if you could click on a praticular airport from the list and have it take you to the DVD that the airport is featured in.

I was looking for Oslo Torp as I flew from there yesterday and found it on the list but it took a lot of searching to find that it is featured on the Good Jet DVD. It would have been much easier to just click and be taken to that DVD's page.

That's just my thoughts anyway.

Any idea when in September the first DVD will be out? My birthday is 13th Sept so would be cool to have a new DVD to ask for as a present.  Smile

To answer your 1st question...
Yes, that is something we have been working on and have a page that includes a few hundred entries... It was going to be called the Routes page and would show all the flights we have listed by departure airports however having filmed 4000-5000 flights it seems to have become a mission impossible first off in the amount of time it would take to list all this and secondly in the amount of space such a page or pages would take on our website so for now that won't happen unless we find an easier way to list them...

And your second question...
Nothing has yet been confirmed... all depends on the shipping from the plant to the warehouse but the 1st September program will be released as early as Sep 5th and as late as Sep 12th... while the 2nd one will then follow on the 19th or 26th... so basically its too early to say... Our warehouse is closed for a few days in early September so that may mean the 12th... not sure...

Oh and I forgot to answer that one...
Yes, the GOODJET program shows a flight in and out of Torp..
You can also find a landing at that airport on the KLM City program but there its listed as Sandjeford... which is Torp.

Excellent guess and yes that would have been a program had the aircraft not gone tech on the day we were starting our filming trip and replaced by a DC10 the next day... so our crew came home empty handed... and now its too late...

I was gessing the simulator it is the only thing i can think off, it is something that has been touched on in the past. If JPV has got hold of a MAJOR airline they coild film in there simulator and have no problem with the FAA FBI CAA etc. I have seen a programme by ITVV useing a A-320 sim and it was great. Except they say in flight.

So what couldit be????????????????

But this is from someone who suggested JPV try the airline ZOOM and look what happens less than a week later they go bust.

I know this means nothing to you, but I'm hoping for tomorrow, next week I'm off to Italy for 10 days, so I'll miss out of the "release party"
