1/400 Aeroclassics - Opinions?

Wed Apr 01, 2009 5:31 pm

Hey all,

Does anyone else have or collect 1/400 Aeroclassics models?? I just wanted some general opinions of their quality.

Also, on a bit of a random question, do they have removable gear like DW or are they fixed like GJ??

I think I've seen some of these models for-sale at Colpar Hobby in Aurora, CO, but I didn't buy any. I don't think the wheels come off, so they would be similar to Gemini Jets. I'm trying really hard to remember, and I think I'm right.  Silly

They are a lot like Gemini, some people like them more, some people like them less. I have some of both and I like Gemini better, but Aeroclassics has some great classic planes. I have Dragon Wings too and they are my least favorite. And yes they have fixed gear.

My collection is mostly Gemini, although I do have a few Aeroclassics. I think the Aeroclassics are every bit as good as the Gemini. The gear on mine are fixed just like the Gemini. If I cant find something in Gemini, I look at Aeroclassics. I really like my Aeroclassics, I dont think you'll be dissappointed with them.
