Repaint Graphics

Sat Jan 16, 2010 5:09 pm

Im new to repainting aircraft and was wondering if there is somewhere i can find aircraft graphics. Such as where i can copy and paste a door or windows or such over what i have already painted. I have created my own aircraft but the vertical stab for example, i have my own logo but its without the texture of the rudder and whatnot.

If anyone has a technique or knows of somewhere i can find these textures/graphics that would be excellent.

Thanks

Mike

What are you painting it on and in? Most better aircraft have a layered paintkit for use in photoshop and such. Structures are then added as a different layer normally and you just fiddle with layer order.

Yes, you cold learn The Gimp. Its free and basically does the same thing. Although I found Photoshop more to suit my likings.
