3D Software For OpenSource Aircraft

Wed Mar 10, 2010 6:00 pm

Hello all,

Can anyone give me an advice, which software best to use for 3D aircraft design in the open source aircraft project jumbolino.org? Proposed are Blender and Google Sketchup, but is there a real 3D CAD alternative, which is also opens ource?

Thanks!

Blender is as CAD as it gets. Unless you get into the Autodesk products which will cost you an arm and a leg.
