Yay! Nice 777, love those KL colours.

Here's an FR 763 EI-CAD, with the Canaries in the background. (Controversially, it's an FS2002 aircraft!)

Talk about a blast from the past.. is that the IFDG? or earlier POSKY 76s model?

Here is my contribution... as usual LX A320s

Well I'm glad you started this thread, because I got this groovy new airplane and it doesn't really fit the other categories! I've been watching for Eaglesoft to finally release their version of the Diamond DA-42 Twinstar...and they finally did. For some reason, I've loved this airplane ever since I saw it at Oshkosh a few years back. Ok, enough babble - here it is:

Yeah, I remember their V1 of the 767, it was a nice model for the time, then they came out with the 744 which was also a cutting edge model, then it was the 777 with flexing wings which I think was a first for FS.

Gosh I am old...

Been out of town for a few days so not much flying done. As I was away in Queenstown thought I would replicate this on FS with a short domestic hop down to ZQN.

I know... back then moving parts where unheard of... flaps did not smoothly move from position to position, they will just snap... same with landing gears, either up or down.... no smooth transition with opening bays and elaborate mechanisms to put them there.

Something else alright! Looks like Tron or something! Old technology is so interesting. Like I'm pretty sure it was cutting edge @ the time. It all really took some jump up with FS2002 though, didn't it?

Aw cheers, but I tried practically every soundset that I either already had , and waited ages downloading them aswell but for some reason just won't work! So I gave up. When I downloaded the base model, the sound file said "fsfsconv" & I'm not 100% familiar on what to do with those, so I just left it. But thanks anyway.

Bem-vindos a Faro!, epic fail for me since I forgot to add AES credits to this airport... I will need a lot of help to push the airplane back...

Now watching the F1 Quali before the return leg

Nice, that will make for a nice "Retro" for CO, it reminds me of my BCN-EWR-BCN flight last year... I was dreading at the thought of being stuck on a 757 across the Atlantic... but it was not bad at all, I guess the AVOD PTV helped a lot.

Nice! LX now flies to Porto but it's like a midnight red-eye flight... can't be bothered to stay all night flying...

 Wow!

Miss Dingus!! you don't know what's AES (Airport Enhancement Services)

Well it's basically the holy grail of FS! is a little program that adds airport ground services (Cleaning, Catering, Fuel, it moves the jetway to your airplane, and if you park in a remote position, buses will take and bring the PAX to and from the airplane... it also has pushback and follow-me... once you fly into an AES compatible airport... you will not want to fly into a non AES airport, it will seem kinda... dead really.

more info here.

As for the scenery, it is Aerosoft Faro 2005.

No impact on frame rates at all.

You need to buy credits to unlock some big airports, but some are free.

I think you need an aircraft carrier rating to land an AN-225 on the Cayman Islands.

Gosh, people in the Caymans must need a lot of stuff to warrant a AN225 for cargo

I think it's used primarily to bring all the money in!

Here is one from a flight between Adelaide and Port Lincoln (before the computer went haywire).

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v630/Ryanhothersall/REX-SAAB-340-FSX.jpg

I only learned today that Pressing V will take a screenshot in FS and save the photo to a folder.

The SAAB 340 in the pic came from www.premaircraft.com however the REX livery is a separate texture file.

I went over to AVSIM just to look around, and found this freeware A300-600 which really impressed me! I mean, for freeware - this thing is awesome! It comes with American and Thai livery. Here I am flying from LAS to DFW...

I gotta say, this is probably one of the nicest freeware airplanes I've seen yet...
